About Us

My name is Scotty. I am veteran, a network engineer and owner of LaserStruck Engraving. As with so many others I have longed to start my own business. The corporate world is not what it used to be and I desired something of a creative outlet as well as something where my success was more directly tied to my efforts rather than yearly performance reviews.

More than a year ago I bought my first 3D printer and was utterly captivated by it. It is a great mix of technicality with CAD design and creativity in bringing a mere idea in your head into physical existence in the form of a 3D print. Unfortunately, the market is somewhat saturated in this realm.

Then I learned about desktop lasers. Similar technical aspects to 3D printing but a vastly expanded area of possibilities. I was absolutely sold. It was not long after this point that turning the love of this tool into a business began swirling around in my head. I decided that with the mix of technical details and creative potential that I had take this passion and run with it. Thus, LaserStruck Engraving was born.

The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.
